Cultural scholarship program
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia annually offers its students more than 150 cultural scholarship programs to foreign countries, included in 112 educational institutions and universities around the world.
Features of the Ministry of Culture scholarship program
The program offers a number of benefits to Saudi male and female students in the track of “self-employed students” as well as those who have previously been accepted into a university below in an effort to achieve the ultimate goal of scholarship.
- A complete academic scholarship that includes study costs, financial guarantee, and living expenses for the student and his companions, in addition to health insurance, and travel tickets from the Kingdom to the mission headquarters and vice versa.
- Providing guidance programs that focus on following up on the scholarship student, evaluating his academic development, and extending a helping hand to him in everything that would enhance the program’s goals and achieve his aspirations.
- The program also offers a group of benefits to students of the third track for new applicants who have not begun their studies and have not obtained university admission.
- Contributing to the qualification of the applicant by providing him with what helps him apply and obtain acceptance from educational institutions, overcoming the obstacles he faces, and helping to complete his deficiencies, such as linguistic ability, personal skills, etc.
- Holding training workshops to develop applicants’ talents and provide them with the necessary capabilities and skills to complete their studies, and enable them to meet specialized experts in fields related to the mission.

Tracks included in cultural exchange programs
The first link: Path for students on their own account
The program gives the opportunity to join students studying on their own account abroad, according to specific mechanisms and controls, such as the requirement that the student’s specialization be within the framework of the program, and that the educational institution in which the student studies is among the list of approved institutions for the specialization that the student is studying.
Second link: Path for those who have previously been accepted
It includes those who have obtained unconditional prior acceptance from the educational institutions available within the program. They will be able to join the program and begin studying after completing the requirements and conditions.
Third link: Path for new students wishing to study
Through it, those who wish to study submit a new application to join, as applicants in this path will participate in virtual qualification programs within the Kingdom that will help them obtain university admission in the specialization chosen by them. Knowing that only a certain number of applicants will be accepted through a differentiation process carried out by a specialized evaluation committee.

General conditions for registration:
1- The applicant must be of Saudi nationality.
2- The applicant must be of good conduct and conduct.
3- The educational institution to be enrolled must be included in the list of educational institutions available within the program.
4- The specialization to be studied must be within the specializations specified or their branches in the cultural scholarship program.
5- The specialization that the applicant wishes to study does not have to be identical or related to the specialization he studied previously.
6- The applicant’s documents must be complete and correct during registration, and those whose information registered on the program website does not match the official documents will be excluded.

Regarding the track for those who have previously accepted admission and the track for self-employed students, the applicant has the right to fill out only one form that lists the university in which he obtained admission or is currently studying and which conforms to all conditions for admission to the program.
