The Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that offers 100% waiver of tuition fees, application fees, registration fees, student services fees, and health service fees.

Financial coverage and benefits
The maximum coverage period for the Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Scholarship is four years, or upon graduation, whichever comes first.
In some cases, English language requirements are also included. It is not necessary to re-apply for a scholarship as long as the criteria for maintaining the scholarship (described in the details of each scholarship section) are met.
The scholarship application process for this fully funded Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Scholarship begins after the student is officially accepted into Abu Dhabi University and a unique ID number is allocated to the student. This ID number is used to securely log in to your university account which has a section for financial aid and scholarships.
Because student information, including academic records, has already been processed by the university upon admission, any scholarships for which a student is eligible will appear on their account page.
A student may choose to fill out the online application for any scholarship shown here, to qualify for these merit-based scholarships. The application is completed with the appropriate details filled in by the student, along with uploading any required documents, and is then submitted online.

Conditions for the Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Scholarship
- Minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.70
- A minimum of 12 credit hours per semester, excluding winter and summer semesters
- This scholarship is available to the top 20 public high school graduates across the UAE who are newly accepted and joining Abu Dhabi University in the fall semester of the year in which they graduate from high school only.
- Receipt of the scholarship is conditional upon selection and official approval from the office of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
- The scholarship is applicable to the period of time during which the student is registered at Abu Dhabi University on a full-time basis (enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours)
- Meet the English language proficiency requirements specified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the United Arab Emirates
- EmSAT Test Requirements (or equivalent international test): Applicants will be required to have a minimum EmSAT Math score of 1200, an English score of 1600, and an Arabic score of 900 for all colleges.
