Types of higher education scholarships in Jordan

The Ministry's Directorate of Scholarships announced data and information for students applying electronically to benefit from internal scholarships and loans for the academic year.

  • Grants by the Royal Hashemite Court
  • Grants to schools in areas of poverty pockets
  • Granting the first kingdoms and banners
  • Student Support Fund grants to students from the Central and Northern regions studying at universities in the South
  • Student Support Fund Grants
  • Loans from the official Jordanian university student support fund
  • Grants from the Jordanian Hashemite Fund

Note that those eligible to apply for grants and loans for this year are students from the following official Jordanian universities and community colleges

Conditions for granting higher education

Jordanian students who have successfully completed the Jordanian General Secondary School or its equivalent and are accepted into public universities on the regular program.

  • Must be of Jordanian nationality
  • The student must be registered in one of the official Jordanian higher education institutions
  • The student must be registered for a bachelor’s degree or intermediate diploma.
  • When submitting the application, he must not be a beneficiary of a full grant from the Fund or be a beneficiary of any other support from any official body.
  • His cumulative GPA in the semester preceding the date of submitting the application to benefit from the scholarship or loan must not be less than two points out of four or 60%.
  • The academic average for diploma students is 50% and above, and for bachelor’s students is 65% and above.
  • He must not have been punished.

Submit an application for higher education scholarships

  • The student applying for higher education scholarships must adhere to the steps for submitting the electronic application.
  • The student applying for higher education scholarships must read the guidance bulletin.
  • Applying for higher education scholarships is done by entering the electronic link for submitting applications.
  • Enter the personal information required according to the civil status card.
  • Approval of a special secret number and keeping it throughout the period of submitting the benefit application.
  • In the event that there are brothers enrolled to study in private colleges inside Jordan or in educational institutions outside Jordan, the student must upload a valid student identification document for the brother/sisters.

Points calculated in higher education scholarships

In accordance with the instructions and standards for benefiting from grants and loans provided by the Student Support Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to students studying in the regular program at public Jordanian universities, this announcement is considered for the purposes of students checking their points and data and is not considered a nomination for the student.

  • The student can access the website of the Directorate of Scholarships to view these data, information, and calculated points
  • Using his national number and password
  • You can view the criteria and mechanisms for calculating points for each fund,
  • If the student wishes to object to the points of any of the calculated standards, he must submit an electronic objection.
