ARES scholarships in Belgium for Moroccans and Tunisians to study for free

Are you a citizen of Morocco or Tunisia, do you have a degree in higher education, have professional experience, and would like to deepen your skills in a subject related to development?

ARES Scholarships offer you the opportunity to pursue a one-year advanced bachelor's or master's degree program or a 2-6 month continuing education program within a higher education institution in the Wallonia-Brussels Union in Belgium.

Submit ARES grant applications

Scholarship applications must be submitted in accordance with the application procedures and meet the eligibility criteria set out below. Scholarship applicants are selected by the selection committee for each course after their administrative admission is analyzed by ARES.

All applications received between the first and last day of the call will be treated equally. ARES encourages applications from women. In case of equal quality, preference will be given to women.

Applying for the ARES Scholarship is completely free. ARES does not charge any fees at any stage of the application or selection process.

How can I submit a scholarship application?

You can create an account on the GIRAF platform via this link. This account will be validated (within a few hours to a few days, do not create more than one account) by ARES and you will receive a confirmation email to create a password.

If you created a verified account last year, you can reuse that account and reset your password if necessary.
Once you are logged into your GIRAF account, you can access the application form via the “Competitive Calls” tab in your GIRAF profile.

Please note that you only have to click once on the “Apply International Internship” button.

You will then find your form in my competitive calling schedule.
You can complete your form multiple times, as long as you use the “Save and Edit Later” option.

You will find your form each time in the “My Tasks” table under the “Competitive Calls” tab in GIRAF.
Once you click “Submit My Order,” your order will be sent to ARES and you will no longer be able to modify it. You can still refer to it in the Sent Files table.
