• You have completed at least three years of university studies in one of the previous majors we mentioned.
• You must not be more than 35 years old at the time of application.
• Proficiency in English or French in order to communicate without official proof.
• As an applicant for international court training, you have an interest in international law.

There are two types of applicants: people accepted for the training opportunity only, and people accepted for the training opportunity within the International Tribunal in addition to a financial benefit that covers all of the following points:

• Travel and accommodation costs,
• Living expenses
• Assistance with visa procedures when necessary.
• Arranging and financing travel to Hamburg. 
• Arranging and financing accommodation in Hamburg. 
• The trainee receives a certificate indicating the training period.

Steps to register for International Court training in Germany

If you are interested in participating in the Court's internship program in Hamburg, you must submit:

• Duly filled online application form.
• A cover letter no more than one page in length, explaining why court training is important to you, how it fits into your academic and career goals, and what benefits you expect to gain from the program.
