Registration at Zewail University

English language requirements for admission to Zewail University
English is the language of study at the University of Science and Technology and therefore all applicants must pass the University English Language Test (EPT) or submit recent test scores within a period not exceeding two years TOEFL IBT or IELTS. Students with high scores on the English language test will be able to (EPT) from the start of their study program immediately after the remaining admission requirements are met, as well as students who have taken the IELTS or TOEFL IBT exam with the following scores:

As for students who were unable to pass the English language exam according to the conditions and percentages set to begin studying directly, they must obtain an intensive study program before or during their studies at the university.
Likewise, students with TOEFL IBT scores of 60-93 overall and 24-26 in writing and students with TOEFL IBT scores of 35-59 as a total and 21-23 in writing must pass the Intensive English Course before or During university studies, students with a total score of less than 35 and 21 are not accepted.
Students with a total score on the IELTS test of 6 - 6.5 points and 6.5 in writing must pass the intensive English language course before or during university study, as well as students with a score of 5 - 5.5 points and 6 in writing. Conditions for maintaining the Zewail University scholarship
- GPA retention policy is applied starting from the second year of enrollment.
- To maintain a financial aid award without re-evaluation, undergraduate students must maintain:
- A cumulative GPA equal to or higher than 3.0
- To maintain full-time status (12 credit hours per semester or higher).
- If a cumulative GPA of less than 3.0 is achieved, financial aid will be subject to change according to the following conditions:
- Full retention of a GPA as low as 3.0
- 50% retention for a GPA less than 3.0 and greater than or equal to 2.7
- No retention GPA below 2.7
- Foundation Year quality points are excluded from the GPA calculation
- Students are given one warning semester if their GPA is less than 3.0 in the second year before the second semester
- Students who are on probation after the foundation year are not eligible for any financial support
- Students graduating during the last semester are excluded from the credit hour criteria. The financial support grant will then be calculated in proportion to the number of registered credits.

- Undergraduates who receive financial aid do not have to renew their financial aid applications on an annual basis if there is no change in their financial situation.
- Undergraduates who fail to maintain their financial aid in accordance with the above must submit a Financial Aid Reinstatement Form as the renewal of their financial aid will be subject to an evaluation of their academic performance.
- Enrolled students who have received financial support, have experienced changes in their financial situation, and would like to review the scholarship amount.
