About Islamic University
It is an Islamic educational institution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established by decree of King Saud bin Abdulaziz in 1961 AD in Medina.
In 2000, it had about 3000 students and is under the supervision of the Saudi Ministry of Education and aims to spread Islamic teachings, implement Islamic fundamentalism, and strengthen the Islamic Awakening Movement.

Admission requirements for Islamic University scholarships
The student applying for the external scholarship system at the Islamic University of Medina must fulfill all of the following conditions:
- The student must be a Muslim of good conduct and conduct.
- To pledge to abide by the university’s rules and regulations.
- To be medically fit.
- To pass any test or personal interview conducted by the relevant authority.
- He must have a high school diploma or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom.
- His secondary school certificate must be issued by a government school or an equivalent school at the university.
- To commit to full-time study
- It must not have been more than five years since he obtained his high school diploma.
- The scholarship applicant must not be more than twenty-five years old at the start of study.
- The applicant for the Holy Quran College must have memorized the entire Holy Quran.
- Must meet any other conditions determined by the University Council and announced at the time of application.
- He must have a general aptitude test certificate if his secondary school certificate is from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Important notes
- Registration for Islamic University scholarships according to the external system for Kingdom scholarships is done exclusively through the university’s website.
- There are no offices or agents for the university.
- The student must initiate the application process himself.
- The student must bear responsibility for maintaining the accuracy of the data entered in the application form.
- Studying at the Islamic University in the Arabic language in the theoretical colleges track.
- Studying at the Islamic University in English in the preparatory year and the scientific colleges track.
- Submitting the application does not mean acceptance. Rather, confirmation of acceptance comes after studying the student’s file by the Islamic University of Medina.
- The student applying with forged documents is subject to penalty and his admission will be cancelled.
- The Islamic University of Medina determines the academic institution of the accepted student after his arrival according to the university’s regulations.
- The accepted student obtains the travel ticket number from the university’s website.
- The student accepted into the university bears the responsibility of knowing and following the study system and regulations governing it.
Documents required for registration
The student who wishes to register for the Islamic University of Medina scholarship must attach the following documents to the application file on the university’s official website:
- Secondary school certificate.
- Transcript of grades for secondary school.
- Good conduct certificate .
- birth certificate .
- passport .
- Identification card .
- A clear, recent, and colorful personal photo
- The photo must be without glasses, on a white background, and without a head covering.
- A recent medical report.
- An introduction to the student from one of the Islamic institutions in the country in which the student resides or from two Islamic figures
- Certificate of entry into Islam (for those who have not been Muslim since birth).
- An Arabic translation must be attached to every document written in a language other than Arabic, certified by an accredited translation office.
- If the student is accepted, he must bring the original documents certified by the Saudi embassy. In the event that there is no Saudi embassy in the student’s country, his documents must be certified by any reliable authority at the university.
- If there are errors in your basic data in your original documents (such as: name, date of birth, and place of birth), you must correct these errors from the competent authorities in your country before sending the application.
Registration at the Islamic University of Medina

Submitting an application for Islamic University scholarships goes through several stages, which are as follows:
- The stage of registering a new account in the external scholarships system on the university’s website
- The stage of activating the account via email.
- The stage of logging in to the site again and getting started
- The stage of entering all required data
- The stage of attaching the required documents
- Request sending stage
- The stage of approval or rejection by the university.
Firstly. Submit a university admission application
- Go to the official website of the Islamic University in Medina on the registration opening date.
- Choose to submit a new request,
- A warning message will appear, read it and then click Next.
- A group of icons will appear, and you can review the content of each one.
- To begin submitting the application, click on the “Submit Admission Request” icon.
- A welcome message will appear, and you will then review the required documents, admission conditions, and method of submitting the application.
- After that, a message will appear alerting you that all copies of the documents that you will attach to your application must be ready in the form of digital pictures.
- Enter the number that appears in front of you in the empty rectangle below it, and then click Submit.
- You will go to the first page of the seven-page form. Complete the data as it is.
- The email must belong to the applicant and be activated.
- The email will help you retrieve your order number,
- Complete the information on this page, then click Continue,
- After completing the seven pages, you will be transferred to the page for selecting the documents whose copies will be attached
- You will notice that some documents have been identified by the system,
- Select the rest of the documents whose copies will be attached to your application, then click Continue
- Review your request and ensure that the data is correct, then click Submit.
- Registration has ended.
Modify the request
- You can make an amendment to your application if necessary within ten days from the date of submitting the application.
- After entering the order number, click Edit. Your order will appear, starting from the first page.
- Move from one page to the next by clicking Continue, make the necessary modifications.
- You must click Continue after the last modification to save.
- You can exit the browser from any page that has not been modified.
- To inquire about the order, click on the order inquiry icon and then enter your order number.
secondly. Arabic language test
- The duration of the test is 85 minutes, and begins according to the times and categories specified on the university’s website. The student needs to have good internet access and a calm, appropriate atmosphere to take the test.
- If someone has previously taken the test, there is no need to take it again.
- The test is for those whose registration has not been issued from the categories mentioned in the table. As for those who have been registered, have obtained a university number, and previously enrolled in studies, there is no need to take the test.
- The test is conducted only once, and the test cannot be stopped after it has begun, nor can it be repeated at another time.
- The person taking the test must be the student accepted for the study himself, and no one else may take the test on his behalf. The applicant bears legal responsibility for this behavior if it occurs.
- The Arabic language level test was developed to help you know your level in the Arabic language, and to know the extent to which you are able to study directly at the bachelor’s level, or whether you must learn the Arabic language first at the Islamic University.
- The test is accessed by entering the student’s Islamic University scholarship application number in the (username) field, then entering the same Islamic University scholarship number in the password field.
Third, submit the visa application
