Al Ain University is a private university in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. It was established in 2004 under the direction of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, former President of the United Arab Emirates. Al Ain University adopts the English language in teaching.
Al Ain University has two campuses:
- The first headquarters is Al Ain headquarters,
- The second headquarters is the Abu Dhabi headquarters.
Al Ain University has more than 10000 students, including Emirati students and international students from more than 70 countries.
Al Ain University conditions
- High school diploma or its equivalent, certified by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates, with a grade point average of no less than 60%.
- Certificate of proficiency in the English language
- Emirates Standardized Test - EmSAT Achieve in the English language subject with a score of no less than 1250.
- TOEFL ITP test with a score of no less than 525 or TOEFL IBT test with a score of no less than 70.
- Or IELTS test with a score of no less than 5.5.
- Health fitness certificate.

Registration instructions at Al Ain University
- The maximum number of credit hours a student can register is 18 credit hours, while the minimum is 9 credit hours.
- A student can register a maximum of 21 credit hours in the following cases:
- If the student's cumulative GPA or semester average is 3.6 and above.
- If the academic load enables the student to graduate at the end of the semester in question.
- A student may register for less than 9 credit hours in one semester if his graduation is expected in that semester.
- For programs that normally require eight semesters for graduation, the minimum is six regular semesters and the maximum is fourteen regular semesters.
- For programs that normally require more than eight semesters for graduation, the minimum is eight regular semesters and the maximum is sixteen regular semesters.
- The minimum and maximum duration of study for a student transferred to the university from other universities is calculated on the basis of the number of hours that have been equivalent, taking into account the rules mentioned above.
