Ospeldung Pharmacy Exams in Germany

The basic course is followed by the Ospeldung Pharmacy exams, which are completed with a second state exam. You have five oral exams, each lasting 30 minutes:

With a license to practice medicine, you have the right to use the professional title “pharmacist” and practice your profession independently and at your own risk.

You implement laboratory quality controls on both raw materials and final in-house production. You can also take random samples of delivered finished medical products and examine them with the help of modern measuring and testing equipment.

According to TVöD, earnings in the public service fall into pay group 6, levels 3 to 6. This corresponds to an amount of €2 and a total of €710 per month. Training as a pharmaceutical technician assistant

The Ospeldung training of a pharmacist assistant is purely scholastic and takes place at a vocational school or vocational college. In public school, training is free. However, practical training is planned during the training period, for which work clothes and equipment must be purchased. As a rule, a contribution to expenses is required for this purpose.

This hands-on training usually takes place as a pharmaceutical technician assistant in the school's own laboratory. In addition, a 4-week internship is completed in a pharmacy. After two years of school education, another pharmacy training must begin. Then the training continues for 6 months.

The total duration of training is two and a half years and ends with a final exam to be accepted within the school. The final exam is very comprehensive and consists of a written part, an oral part and a practical examination.
