The University of Kansas Scholarships is pleased to announce its International Merit Awards for new international students seeking undergraduate degrees in the United States.

The program is open to both new and transfer undergraduate international students who demonstrate prior high academic achievement and the potential to excel at K-State University.

Kansas State University, also known as K-State, offers 65 master's degree programs and nearly 50 doctoral programs. Founded on February 16, 1863 in the United States, it is a public research university with 65 academic departments in nine colleges. Students can get comprehensive academic curricular activities. The university offers two mandatory retirement plans to help prepare students for their future. It also provides a fair and competitive compensation program for students.

Grant funding

  • The university will offer awards ranging from $4000 to $7500 to each student. Thirty (30) freshmen will receive the award each academic year.

Conditions for Kansas State University scholarships in America

  • The program is available for undergraduate study at K-State University
  • Applicants intend to enroll on an undergraduate degree course at the University
  • Candidates must have a high school diploma with 24 credit hours completed at the college level
  • Students must have a GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale at a college or university
  • Applicants must have completed a high school diploma, 24 credit hours completed at the college level, and a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale on college or university transcripts.
  • Language Requirement: English proficiency is not required for admission to Kansas State University,
