Diponegoro University Scholarship or Undip Knowledge is a financial support provided to international students to pursue Master's degree Which offers many programs in English. The scholarship consists of tuition fee waiver, living allowance, health insurance and internet allowance.

Grant coverage and duration

The winner of the Diponegoro University Scholarship will receive:

  • Round-trip international airfare (economy class only) and round-trip domestic transportation
  • A settlement allowance of IDR 2.500.000.00 paid only once upon arrival.
  • Living allowance IDR 2.500.000.00 per month
  • Please be aware that this amount is only enough to support one person living properly in Semarang.
  •  Therefore, we do not recommend that awardees bring their families. If winners insist on bringing their families, all expenses are the responsibility of the awardees. This allowance is only for those who reside in Semarang
  • Book allowance will be paid for each semester
  • Internet allowance is only for those residing outside Semarang

  • The scholarship is terminated when the student finishes his studies, fails to achieve the minimum grade, or exceeds the period of study

Responsibilities of Indonesia Scholarship Recipients

Recipients of scholarships offered by the Diponegoro University Scholarship Program must:

  • Comply with Indonesian laws and regulations, university regulations and other relevant regulations;
  • Actively engage in regular supervision sessions and other relevant academic activities all through the program to support completion of study;
  • Punctuality and focus on passing all courses offered in their program to enhance the academic result. Periodic evaluations will be conducted to assess the eligibility of winners to continue the program;
  • Willing to participate in academic and non-academic events held by Universitas Diponegoro

Coming home

Universitas Diponegoro will provide economy class air tickets for Undip Scholarship recipients to return to their home country. However, the provision of a ticket must meet the following conditions:

  • Return home after completing the program. 
  • Winners must return to their home countries no later than 30 days after the program ends. 
  • The return ticket will be booked by the Diponegoro International Office.
  •  The student must apply for an Exit Only Permit (EPO), as well as book a ticket, by submitting his or her passport to the International Affairs Office at least two weeks before departure.
  • Returning home due to failure to complete the program. 
  • Return to the home country for the purpose of research or data collection is subject to university approval (supervisor permission). 
  • However, awardees are encouraged to collect research data remotely or work on distinctly Indonesian research topics.
  • All costs related to temporary return will be borne by temporary return grantees

Registration for Diponegoro University Scholarship

  • A copy of the passport or ID.
  • The last certificate you obtained must be translated.
  • A statement of the student’s grades for the last academic degree obtained, translated into English.
  • Motivation letter.
  • At least two letters of recommendation.
  • Biography.
  • Training certificates if you have them.
  • Work experience certificates if you have previous experience.
  • Volunteer certificates if you participated previously With volunteer opportunities.
