All students are eligible for the Loyola University Scholarship based on grade point average alone, and each student who completes the admission application is automatically considered for merit scholarship funding.

There is no need to submit a separate application from the university admission application, and you will only be notified of admission after registering at the university before the registration deadline.

Loyola University First Scholarship

Academic Scholarships are for entering first-year students and are awarded for a period of four years (8 semesters) provided that the student maintains the annual GPA requirements provided with the award at the time of acceptance.

These scholarships provide financial assistance to students with strong academic ability and achievement, and are awarded based on the student's GPA, course selection, and scores on international tests such as SAT or other exams.

Presidential Scholarship:

  • Scholarship range is $30,000
  • Required GPA: 90% or better.

Debt grant:

  • Scholarship range: $23,000 – $27,000
  • Required GPA: 80% or better.

Loyola Scholarship:

  • Scholarship range is $20,000
  • Required GPA: 78% or better.

Loyola University II Scholarship

Transfer scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to students with strong academic records.

These awards are renewable for up to four academic years (8 semesters) of full-time undergraduate study.

  • Scholarship range: $20000 – $27000
  • Required GPA: 70% or better.

  • University transcript translated into English.
  • Motivation letter for the desired major in English.
  • A letter of recommendation in English is required.
  • Biography In English.
  • Secondary school certificate.
