Upon admission, the University of Newfoundland offers international students opportunities to receive scholarships and awards, as funding allows.

You will automatically be considered for a scholarship (if you meet the eligibility criteria). This means that no additional application is needed.

The University of Newfoundland International Admission Scholarship is awarded to first-year students and is non-renewable. Students will be notified if they are successful in obtaining a scholarship.

Application fees

  • Canadian applicants: 60 Canadian dollars
  • Canadian applicants who have attended a post-secondary institution outside Newfoundland and Labrador:  120 Canadian dollars
  • International applicants: 120 Canadian dollars

College application fees

These fees are in addition to the general application fees mentioned above:

  • Applicants for Bachelor of Music: 40 CAD
