Conditions for external scholarships at Princess Noura University

The admission conditions and study regulations applicable to Saudi women at Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University and higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia apply to external scholarship students. Female students must adhere to the following conditions:

  • Equipping bonusThe newly arrived student in the Kingdom is given a stipend of two months as a preparation allowance upon arrival.
  • Graduation awardThe graduate is paid a three-month graduation stipend for shipping books.
  • Discounted mealsProviding discounted meals.

  • Ticket compensationThe student will be compensated for the value of the ticket she came to the Kingdom with at the beginning of her scholarship, provided that the compensation does not exceed the value of the ticket given to her colleagues from the same country.
  • Monthly rewardThe female student is paid a monthly stipend according to what is paid to the Saudi female student.
  • Bonus booksThe student is paid a stipend of one month annually in exchange for books and references, provided that its disbursement is limited to the statutory period specified for completion of study, without extensions.
  • Reward for excellenceA stipend of 1000 Saudi riyals will be paid to the student who obtains an excellent grade in each academic year, at 500 Saudi riyals per semester for her advanced level.

Procedures for applying for an external scholarship application at Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University

  1. Electronic submissionApplication is made through the “Study in Saudi Arabia” platform to accept non-Saudis from inside and outside the Kingdom, according to the dates that are announced every year on the platform. Controls for terminating a scholarship from abroad

  • Sponsorship TransferThe system does not allow transferring the sponsorship of an external scholarship applicant to another party, or bringing her family members to the Kingdom.
