University of Thun Bachelor’s Scholarships in English
- Type: from partial scholarships to full scholarships.
- Level of study: Bachelor's degree.
- Language of study: English.
- Duration: From 4 to 5 years.
For the full scholarship:
- 100% of the tuition fees for the bachelor’s program.
- 100% of the housing fee.
For partial scholarship:
- 50-75% of the tuition fees for the bachelor’s program.
- 100% of the housing fee.
- During undergraduate study, the passing grade for the previous academic year must be at least 6.0
Ton University Bachelor's Scholarships in Vietnamese
- Type: from partial scholarships to full scholarships (according to the student’s academic and linguistic performance)
- Level of study: Bachelor's degree
- Specializations: 38 specializations. Scholarships are not applicable to the Vietnamese Studies – Vietnamese Language, Culture and Society major.
- Language of study: Vietnamese
- Duration: One mandatory year to study Vietnamese language (if applicants do not have a certificate of proof of Vietnamese language proficiency level B2);
- 4 to 5 years for a bachelor’s program (according to specializations).
For the full scholarship:
- 100% of the tuition fee for the Vietnamese language course (not including the tuition fee for the Vietnamese language course in case of studying for the second time)
- 100% of the tuition fees for the bachelor’s program (not including tuition fees for courses taken by students for the second time)
- 100% of the housing fee
For partial scholarship:
- 100% of the tuition fee for the Vietnamese language course (not including the tuition fee for the Vietnamese language course in case of studying for the second time)
- 50-75% of the tuition fees for the bachelor’s program (not including tuition fees for courses taken by students for the second time)
- 100% of the housing fee
- The scholarship will be renewed each academic year if students meet the following retention criteria:
- Pass the Vietnamese language proficiency test (at least at B2 level) for admission to a bachelor’s programme;
- During undergraduate study, the passing grade for the previous academic year must be at least 5.0
Conditions for the University of Thun scholarships
The applicant must meet the following conditions:
Academic requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- The passing rate for the final year of high school must be at least 6.5/10.0
Linguistic conditions:
- For school undergraduate programs in Vietnamese:
- The applicant must have a Vietnamese language proficiency test result/certificate at least at B2 level
- Or attend one year of Vietnamese language study at Ton Duc Thang University and pass the final examination of Vietnamese language proficiency at least at B2 level.
- For undergraduate programs taught in English:
- Citizens of English native countries;
- Or they must have a valid IELTS of at least 5.0
- Or take the English Proficiency Test at Ton Duc Thang University.
Additional terms:
- To major in Pharmacy, applicants must have: A passing grade for their final year of high school defined as “good” or higher;

In terms of design, fashion design, and industrial design, applicants are required to take the intellectual assessment test organized by Ton Duc Thang University before entering undergraduate programs.
Registration for Tuon University Scholarships
Applicants follow this procedure guide to apply.
- An application is only valid upon submission of sufficient and correct documentation;
- The International Admissions Board will select applicants with the highest academic performance to award scholarships.
Eligible applicants will be informed of the result via email at:
- For the September semester, at the end of July;
- For the January semester, at the end of November.
Please note that:
- If eligible applicants do not receive a response after 14 days of receiving the result announcement letter, the scholarship result will be terminated and transferred to other applicants.
