IsDB grant for women researchers in sustainability sciences provided by the Islamic Development Bank
Early-career female researchers from 21 least developed countries at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) are eligible for the IsDB Postdoctoral Scholarship Programme.
The fellowships will support research related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and provide recipients with high-level training in areas relevant to sustainability science.

Scholarship conditions
- The applicant must have a doctoral degree in a field of science related to the field of research in the fellowship program
- Applicants for the IsDB-TWAS Postdoctoral Fellowships must be women only. Any application submitted by males will not be considered.
- To work in an institution in her home country
- It is not required during application, but if accepted, the applicant will need to submit the results of these English tests
- Be a citizen and resident of IsDB LDMC
- Not assuming other tasks during the fellowship period
- Financially responsible for any accompanying family members
- Independent regarding visa application, health insurance and housing in the host country
IsDB Scholarship Benefits
- The scholarship will cover the cost of a round-trip air ticket of up to US$1000. Any other travel expenses (such as airport transfers and local transportation) will be the responsibility of the awardee.
- Through the fellowship, the selected scientist will be given a monthly allowance based on the cost of living in the host country to cover expenses such as accommodation, food and health insurance.
- The scholarship will provide an allowance for bench fee costs of up to $2.565 as a contribution to laboratory expenses necessary for the awardee's research.

- A copy of the passport or ID.
- The last certificate you obtained must be translated.
- A statement of the student’s grades for the last academic degree obtained, translated into English.
- Motivation letter.
- At least two letters of recommendation.
- the biography.
- Training certificates if you have them.
- Work experience certificates if you have previous experience.
- Volunteer certificates if you have previously participated in volunteer opportunities.
