Fully funded Turkish doctoral scholarships

The Turkish PhD Scholarships for PhD Students are designed with full funding for long-term research and merit-based scholarships.

Conditions for granting a Turkish doctorate

• The GPA requirement must be higher than 75% in the Master’s degree.
• If you want to pursue a medical specialty, you must have years of experience in general medicine.
• Age requirement for PhD programmes: be under 35 years of age
• Age requirement for the research grant: You must be under 45 years old
• The scholarship is available to citizens of all countries.

Financing Turkish doctoral scholarships

• Monthly salary: 4000 Turkish liras per month.
• The study period is between 3-10 months depending on the program.
• The grant period can be more than 10 months if the required specialization requires a longer period.

Documents required for doctoral students

• University graduation certificate (bachelor’s degree).
• University transcript (bachelor’s degree).
• University graduation certificate (Master’s degree).
• University transcript (Master’s degree).
• Research proposal or abstract of the doctoral thesis
• Letter of intent.
• Biography.
• At least two letters of recommendation.
• Training certificates (if any).
• Volunteer certificates (if any).
• Work experience certificates (optional).
• Submitting a birth certificate document translated into Turkish or English.
• A color copy of your passport, valid for at least 6 months.
