Conditions for the Fatima College of Health Sciences Scholarship

Fatima College of Health Sciences has a number of policies and procedures in place to ensure that the college operates effectively and provides high quality education to its students.

Admission procedures:

  1. Emirati applicants must submit an application form from the National Admissions and Employment Office (NAPO), which can be found on the Ministry of Education website. As for international students, they must fill out the online admission application form and submit the required documents through the college’s admission portal.
  2. Applicants who meet the admission criteria for a particular major/degree program will be accepted according to the student's preferences and the ability of the faculty and/or program. International applicants are also accepted on a competitive basis according to the percentage specified by the Board of Trustees.
  3. International applicants who completed their high school studies outside the UAE are reviewed and accepted according to the following conditions:
  • Grades for science subjects must be 90% or higher.
  • The applicant must pass the college placement test(s).
  1. The offer of admission must be valid for the semester in which the applicant is applying. If an applicant is accepted but is unable to enroll in the current semester, he or she can request to postpone admission in writing to the next semester.

Required Documents:

  1. For Emirati students: Completed NAPO application form.
  2. For all applicants: a completed university application form.
  3. Original high school diploma or certified by the Ministry of Education. If the secondary school curricula studied are international, an equivalence must be obtained from the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates and submitted with the transcript.
  4. The high school diploma must be no more than 3 years old for Emiratis seeking a bachelor’s degree and 6 years old for applicants to the Health Care Assistant (HCA) program.
  5. The high school diploma for international students must be no more than one year old.
  6. The maximum age for applicants is 25 years and 26 years for the Health Care Assistant program.

In addition:

  • A copy of the proficiency certificate must be submitted English language (such as EmSAT IELTS or TOEFL) and a copy of EmSAT scores according to admission requirements.
  • A medical fitness certificate must be presented upon registration.
  • For Emiratis, a copy of the ID card, family book and passport issued by the UAE must be submitted.
  • For international students, a copy of the ID card and valid passport as well as the residence visa of the applicant and his/her father and mother must be submitted.
  • Male students must submit an official National Service letter stating that they are eligible for admission into higher education.
  • A copy of the birth certificate must be submitted.
