Through this scholarship, students can receive grants worth up to AU$48000* over four years on eligible undergraduate courses, or up to AU$24000* over two years on eligible postgraduate courses.
2. Global Sports Excellence Scholarship
The University of Western Australia offers the Global Sports Excellence Scholarship to outstanding athletes, coaches and officials from around the world who study with us.
Like the Global Excellence Scholarship, students can receive scholarships worth up to AU$48000* over four years on eligible undergraduate courses, or up to AU$24000* over two years on eligible postgraduate courses.
3. International Student Award
The UWA International Student Award helps foster a diverse student community and enables more students of different nationalities to achieve their academic and career goals at UWA.
Eligible students can receive a fee reduction of up to AU$5000* per year, meaning they can get up to AU$20000* off their course fees over four years or AU$15000* over three years.
4. International Postgraduate Research Scholarships
The UWA International Postgraduate Research Scholarships aim to attract high-quality international postgraduate students to the research strengths of UWA and to support research efforts in Australia.
5. Forest Foundation Graduate Scholarships
Forest Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students to complete a PhD at a Western Australian university. Forest Foundation students will be of exceptional ability, high personal resources and the highest level of academic achievement.

When will I hear about the status of my application?
The admissions team aims to process all applications in a timely manner. Please allow 10 business days for us to process your request. During this time, you can track the progress of your application in the University of Western Australia application portal.
You will receive notification of the outcome of your application once the admissions department has completed its evaluation of your application. If you receive an offer, your letter will provide additional instructions on how to accept and register.
What if I receive a conditional offer?

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your admission, you may request to appeal the decision by emailing the Admissions Office at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with the outcome after your appeal, you can submit a formal report to the university via the online report form | Advocate System (symplicity.com).
Do I need to pay an application fee?
International students applying directly to The University of Western Australia and agents applying on behalf of students to study at The University of Western Australia must pay a non-refundable fee of $125. The application will not be processed until the application fee is successfully collected.
