How do you apply and register your name?
To register in Swedish universities through the University Admissions Sweden website, you must follow the following steps:
See the requirements: Before you begin the registration process, you must make sure that you meet the admission requirements for the program you wish to enroll in. You need to know the language requirements, academic grades and any additional documents required.
Create an account: Go to the University Admissions Sweden website and choose “Create account” to create a new account. You will need to provide personal information and create a username and password.
Fill out the application: After creating the account, log in using your username and password. Then choose “Applications” to start filling out the application for enrollment in the program. Follow the instructions and fill out the required information.
Choose programs: Choose the programs you would like to apply to. You can choose multiple programs if you have more than one choice. Be sure to observe application deadlines.
Make sure your documents have been officially issued
In order for your documents to be accepted, it is important that they have been officially issued by your school before they are scanned into a PDF file for uploading, or copied and sent by post. Printouts from a web page, handwritten copies, or certificates from an unofficial source cannot be accepted.

- How do I know that my documents have arrived?
- When you upload your documents, you add them directly to your application in the electronic admission system.
Any file name you see listed on the “Documents” page is a file that has been added to your admission application.
You are currently unable to open or view documents you have uploaded. Check the names of the files we received against files on your computer to see what you sent.
If you are sending a resume, letter of recommendation, or letter of intent, make sure you have the final version you wish to send before uploading it.
Track Status: After submitting your application, you can track the status of your application through your account on the website. You will receive a notification of your acceptance or rejection later.

What papers and documents are required of you as a student?
The list of documents required to apply to Swedish universities may vary slightly from one university to another and from one study program to another. But usually the list of basic documents includes the following:
- A certified copy of the high school diploma or its equivalent.
- This certificate must be translated into English if it is in another language.
- If you are applying to a postgraduate programme such as a Masters, you may need to submit Bachelor's degrees or equivalent.
- You may also need an English translation if it is in another language.
- If the educational program you wish to enroll in requires proof of English language level, you must submit a TOEFL, IELTS or other recognized exam.
- You need to speak to the university in question to find out what level is required.
- You may need to submit letters of recommendation from teachers, professors, or academic supervisors.
- Be sure to find out if the program you are applying to requires letters of recommendation and how many letters are required.
- You may also need to submit a CV or certificate of appreciation documenting your previous experience and academic and professional achievements.
