Simon June Scholarships at Oxford University in Britain
The University of Oxford offers the Simon and June Lee International Undergraduate Scholarship in the UK. This scholarship is open to provide funding to undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic merit and who may be prevented from pursuing their studies due to financial circumstances. The scholarship will include course fees and a grant to cover living costs.
These Simon June Scholarships were established at the University of Oxford to provide funding to undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic merit who may be prevented from pursuing their studies due to financial circumstances. Up to two scholarships will be available.
Conditions for the Simon June Scholarship
- Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit and financial need. The information you provide on your application form will be used to assess how well you meet these criteria.
- For the first award, preference will be given to applicants for undergraduate courses in the Department of Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences or the Department of Medical Sciences. For the second award, preference will be given to applicants for undergraduate courses in the Department of Humanities or the Department of Social Sciences.
- Scholars are expected to write an annual report on their academic and social activities, and the achievements they have achieved at the university.
- Receipt of the award in subsequent years is subject to satisfactory academic progress.
- Applicants should be aware that competition for the scheme is very high and that the University does not have additional funding for candidates who do not secure a scholarship.
